In order to ensure the security of all player accounts, you will be required to provide an authentication code via SMS text message or an authenticator app when you attempt to access your ResortsCasino.com account via the app or our website or attempt certain actions.
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor Authentication (TFA), also known as Multi-Factor Authentication, is an added security measure to ensure that only you are able to access your ResortsCasino.com account. TFA accomplishes this by requiring an additional level of authentication, using a security code sent to your mobile device via SMS text message or an authenticator app when you attempt to access your ResortsCasino.com account via the app or our website or attempt certain actions.
When logging into your account for the first time, or if you have not yet configured TFA for your account, you will see the following screen:
Using SMS Text Message
Authentication via SMS Text Message will only require you to enter an authentication code every 13 days, and each time you log in using a new device.
This method utilizes the phone number currently registered to your account. If you need to update your phone number, you may do so via the Strong Authentication page under the My Account menu. If you are unable to access your account due to an outdated or incorrect phone number on your account, please contact our Player Support Team to begin the process of updating your phone number to restore access to your account.
Here's a quick tutorial video to help you get up and running with SMS text message authentication:
Using an authenticator app
Authenticator apps are a great way to keep your account secure without using your mobile phone number. When using an authenticator app, you will be required to enter an authentication app on every login.
We recommend Google Authenticator for mobile devices, and the Authenticator.cc browser extension for Windows/Mac computers:
Download Google Authenticator for iOS | Download Google Authenticator for Android | Download Authenticator.cc for PC/Mac |

Confirming your TFA selection
Once you choose an authentication method and click the Next button, you will be asked to enter your first authentication code in order to confirm that you've configured TFA correctly. If you've opted for SMS text messages, you'll receive a code via text within a few seconds. If you've selected the authenticator app option, check your device for a 6-digit code in the authenticator app and enter it before it expires.
After you've entered the correct code, you will be logged into your account. Keep in mind that the process you just followed will be your authentication process going forward
Changing your TFA selection
You may change your TFA selection at any time when logged into your account by visiting the Change Login Details page under the My Account menu.
